We are beginning our 3rd marking period this week. It is an excellent time to clean out lockers, re-organize folders and check supplies.
Seventh Grade
This week we are focusing on telling time, days of the week and dates. Students are using their numbers vocabulary, plus some new expressions:

Il est une heure.
Il est une heure et quart.
Il est une heure et demie.
Il est deux heures moins le quart.
Il est trois heures dix.
Il est quatre heures vingt.

Eighth and Ninth Graders
We are working on definite and indefinite articles - including plural and in a negative sentence. We are using the verb AVOIR and the expressions "il y a" and "il n'y a pas".
