Bonjour, Salvete y Hola! Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth Grade language students will be taking their midterm from January 26th – January 30th, 2009. This comprehensive exam is an indicator of how well the students have grasped the materials presented so far. It is also used to measure their ability in speaking, reading, writing and listening in French, Spanish, and Latin.
For the Seventh Graders, the exam will be given in class January 26th – 30th. Please be sure that your child is present and on time to class.
For the Eighth Graders, the exam will be given in class January 26th – 30th. We will use the exam results to work with those students to strengthen any areas of weakness in order to better prepare them for the NYS Proficiency at the end of the year.
For the Ninth Graders, the Spanish, French and Latin 1 & 2 exam is January 27 at 12 noon.
We will be reviewing in class; however students also need to spend time reviewing vocabulary, conversations, past quizzes and homework. By communicating this information, we hope that together we can continue to ensure your child’s success.
