What are we doing?
French 1B has begun working with conversation - we worked on asking someone's name and introducing yourself.
Comment t'appelles-tu?
Je m'appelle ________. Et toi?

We are also finding out what counties are French-speaking. Scholars should be able to name at least 10 by now.

We are also working on colors. We are using the colors to describe the flags of the French-speaking countries.

French 1C and French I have been reviewing vocabulary from last year. We are working on telling time, including the "24 hour clock". They are looking at the difference between Quelle heure est-il? and À quelle heure est le film? We also reviewed colors, family, food and numbers.

As we are focussing on organization (making sure that scholars are keeping track of the new information in their notebook), please remind your child that each marking period, notebooks will be graded (20% ).
